Job summary

Durham Lifting Ltd invites you to join our Engineering & Design team to translate concepts into workshop-ready drawings, including 3D CAD models and fabrication drawings for lifting equipment.

You will deliver weldments, assemblies, BOMs and complete workshop drawing packages that become the production blueprint, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability. The role demands attention to detail and strong CAD skills in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in 3D CAD modelling and attention to detail is essential.
• Understanding welded fabrication and fabrication drawings is required.
• Excellent drawing accuracy and precision in measurements are expected.
• Structured, methodical work approach with good organisation is needed.
• Familiarity with bills of materials and workshop drawing packages is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D CAD models for lifting equipment.
• Produce fabrication drawings and detailed weldments/assemblies.
• Prepare Bills of Materials and ensure correct part data.
• Assemble workshop drawing packages for production.
• Collaborate with engineering and workshop teams to confirm manufacturability.
