Matchtech Group is seeking an experienced CAD/Design and Drawing Production professional in Greater Manchester. The role involves creating 2D/3D CAD models, preparing comprehensive drawings, and supporting engineers through concept to construction stages.

The role requires updating drawing registers, maintaining document control, and ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements. Collaboration with engineers, clients, and contractors is essential for on-time project delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Produce 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using industry-standard software.
• Prepare engineering drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules.
• Assist engineers in the development of concept, preliminary, detailed, and construction-stage designs.
• Create, maintain, and update drawing registers and document control systems.
• Ensure all drawings are produced in accordance with relevant standards, specifications, and client requirements.
• Prepare technical graphics, visualisations, and presentation material as required.
• Produce drawings for highways, drainage and flood alleviation schemes, rail infrastructure, earthworks and utilities, site development works, structures and retaining walls, MEP schemes, and SISS & Telecoms projects.
• Integrate survey information and design data into CAD models and drawing packages.
• Assist with planning, tender, and construction-stage documentation.
• Work closely with engineers, clients, contractors, and external consultants to support project delivery.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination workshops, and project meetings.
• Assist with multidisciplinary design coordination, including clash detection activities where required.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams to achieve programme milestones and delivery deadlines.

Design and Drawing Production

• Produce 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using industry-standard software.
• Prepare engineering drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules.
• Assist engineers in the development of concept, preliminary, detailed, and construction-stage designs.

Engineering Support

• Produce drawings for a wide range of engineering projects, including highways, drainage and flood alleviation schemes, rail infrastructure, earthworks and utilities, site development works, structures and retaining walls, MEP schemes, and SISS & Telecoms projects.
• Integrate survey information and design data into CAD models and drawing packages.
• Assist with the preparation of planning, tender, and construction-stage documentation.

Coordination and Collaboration
