Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd, on behalf of a long-established stonework specialist, is seeking a CAD Technician for a full-time, office-based role near Witham, Essex. You will produce detailed 2D CAD drawings for commercial stone and tiling packages and support document control across multiple projects, with occasional travel to London sites.

The ideal candidate is AutoCAD proficient, skilled in managing technical documents, and highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD with knowledge of construction drawings.
• Experience managing document registers and drawing records.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D CAD drawings for commercial stone and tiling packages (AutoCAD)
• Assist with design detailing, drawing updates, and technical submissions
• Maintain and manage document registers, RFI logs, and drawing records
• Liaise with internal teams and site staff to ensure up-to-date documentation across projects
• Contribute to wider project coordination and administrative support when required.
