Job summary

Spectra Stone is seeking an experienced CAD Technician with a strong joinery background to join our Victoria, London / Basildon, Essex team. You will produce detailed technical drawings, 3D models and workshop information for bespoke joinery projects, working closely with project managers, designers and workshop teams.

The role involves site surveys, accurate measurements, interpreting drawings, and ensuring compliant, high-quality deliverables for luxury projects.

Qualifications

• Proven CAD Technician experience within bespoke joinery.
• Advanced AutoCAD and Rhino skills.
• Any CNC programming experience advantageous.
• Strong understanding of joinery construction and manufacturing.
• Experience producing detailed workshop drawings.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical and workshop drawings using AutoCAD and Rhino.
• Create bespoke joinery designs and 3D visualisations.
• Conduct site surveys and take accurate measurements.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and workshop teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and approvals.
• Assist with project estimating and costing.
• Liaise with clients throughout the design process.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.

The Role.
