Job summary

Teledyne Labtech in Presteigne, Mid Wales, seeks a proactive engineer to support PCB manufacturing tooling and process setup. You will work with Genesis LT CAD tools to generate drill and routing programs, imaging files, and AOI data, ensuring smooth production launch for complex RF/microwave PCBs.

The role requires some familiarity with ERP XA processes and the ability to create and modify process flows, with an emphasis on accuracy, IT literacy, and teamwork within an experienced engineering

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level preferred but not essential.
• Educated to GCSE standard or above in STEM subjects.
• Good numeracy skills.
• IT literate, specifically email (Office), Word and Excel.
• Experience in printed circuit manufacture would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process data through CAD software Genesis LT and generate tooling for production, including drilling and routing programs.
• Create and manage files for Direct Imaging and AOI.
• Prepare files for Bare Board (BBT) processes and new job toolings.
• Create process flows for new jobs within the ERP XA system and loading existing flows.
