Job summary

TM Green Group is looking for a proactive CAD Engineer to join our civils and groundworks team in the Midlands. You will produce accurate 3D models for on-site use and create take-offs to support estimating and procurement, working closely with Pre-Construction and Tender teams.

Using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Trimble, you’ll contribute to early-stage planning and drive continuous improvement of our digital engineering capability.

Qualifications

• Proficient in civil modelling software and 3D CAD workflows.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering and groundworks principles.
• Experience with take-offs and quantity reporting.
• Experience in groundworks or civils environment desirable.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Producing accurate and detailed 3D models for use on-site
• Creating take-offs and quantity reports to support estimating and procurement
• Working closely with the Pre-Construction and Tender teams to develop winning bids
• Contributing to early-stage project planning using the latest CAD and modelling software
• Supporting continuous improvement in our digital engineering capability

What We’re Looking For

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble, or similar modelling software
• Strong understanding of civil engineering and groundworks principles
• Ability to work closely with estimators, planners, and site teams
• Organised, driven and keen to contribute to a high-performing team
• Previous experience in a groundworks or civils environment is desirable
