Base pay range

Our client manufactures brass hardware and accessories and is looking for a CAD Engineer.

Salary: Up to £45K.

CAD Engineer Role:

• Technical product development of door and cabinet hardware.

CAD Engineer Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop products using CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor and Vault.
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and optimized for manufacturing.
• Ensure all design and technical work meet company standards and values.
• Apply good knowledge of metals and machining processes.
• Produce Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation for manufacturing teams.

Qualifications:

• Degree in mechanical engineering.
• Experience with shop floor machining and manufacturing processes.

Work Hours:

• 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 12.30pm Friday.

This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
