Job summary

Wilton Engineering seeks a skilled CAD Draughtsperson to join its engineering team. You will produce detailed drawings and 2D/3D models, interpreting sketches and specifications to ensure accurate layouts for fabrication and construction.

Role requires experience with TEKLA or similar 3D modelling, AutoCAD proficiency, and strong attention to detail. You will collaborate with engineers and project teams, maintaining records and supporting manufacturing and site needs.

Qualifications

• Able to produce detailed engineering drawings to ISO Standards.
• In-depth experience of 3D structural modelling using TEKLA or comparable (preferred).
• Experience in 2D AutoCAD (Essential).

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts using CAD software or manual drafting techniques.
• Interpret sketches, specs, and briefs to create accurate drawings.
• Develop 2D and 3D models as project needs require.
• Revise and update drawings based on design changes and feedback.
• Check drawings for accuracy, consistency, and completeness prior to issue.
• Maintain drawing registers, version control, and document management systems.
• Support production and site teams with drawing clarifications.
