Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a CAD Engineer for a contract role with a leading aerospace client. The position involves creating accurate 3D geometry from existing designs and CAD data, and supporting UAS sub-module components and assemblies.

Ideal candidates will have 3D CAD experience, Creo proficiency, Windchill data management, and familiarity with radomes or aerodynamic enclosures. Security clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in 3D CAD engineering, ideally within aerospace.
• UAS, Drone or Radome experience.
• Proficient in interpreting and developing geometry from CAD data and designs.
• Proficiency in Creo and WINDCHILL file management.
• Experience using or ability to work with the AAX plugin for Creo.
• Knowledge of aerodynamic enclosures or radome design is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate with manufacturing teams and external facilities.
• SC Clearance preferred, with ability to obtain security clearance.

Your client, a leading organisation in the aerospace sector, is seeking a CAD Engineer for a contract opportunity. The role will involve creating accurate 3D geometry based on existing designs and CAD data, supporting the development of specialist UAS sub-module components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing detailed 3D CAD geometry from existing designs and technical data
