Modine Manufacturing Company in Leeds is seeking a CAD Design Engineer to join the Product Development team. You will work with mechanical, electrical, controls, manufacturing and quality engineers to design the structural framework and packaging of new HVAC products from concept through to production.
You will produce 3D models, layout drawings and sheet metal manufacturing drawings, ensuring designs meet APQP/SOM guidelines and deadlines.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a CAD Design Engineer to work in the Product Development department reporting to a Lead Mechanical Engineer. It involves working closely with a team of mechanical, electrical, controls, manufacturing and quality engineers to design and develop the structural framework and packaging of new standard HVAC products from concept through to production manufacture whilst maintaining the existing portfolio.
The role consists of working as part of a team to develop new product design projects in accordance with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and relevant SOM guidelines from concept through to full product launch.
