Ardagh Glass Packaging – Knottingley (UK) is seeking a Design Draughtsperson to produce accurate CAD drawings for plant equipment. The role involves on-site surveys, 3D scans, and supporting project engineers across facilities.

Applicants should be proficient in CAD and Office 365, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and travel as needed. Training for survey equipment is available.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD software to produce design drawings.
• Understanding of glass manufacturing process and ergonomics.
• Experience with Office 365 (Word, Excel) is required.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Desirable: ability to operate survey equipment (laser level, 3D scanner)

Responsabilités

• Produce accurate design drawings using CAD as requested by senior designer or Project Engineer.
• Carry out on-site surveys and 3D scans at Ardagh Group facilities.
• Provide project support to project engineers at facilities.
• Identify and propose design improvements to meet objectives.
• Produce supporting documents (Word, Excel) for drawings.
• Maintain effective communication within the team.
