Job summary

AtkinsRéalis are seeking a CAD Technician to join our geotechnical and infrastructure CAD team in the UK. You will deliver engineering drawings for diverse projects and ensure CAD standards are applied across contract documents and reports.

The role requires hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and BIM workflows, plus familiarity with Bentley OpenGround and ProjectWise. You will collaborate within a nationwide team and contribute to major infrastructure schemes.

Qualifications

BEng, HNC or similar in Civil Engineering, CAD or related course with at least 2 years' experience.
Be fully conversant in AutoCAD and produce high quality output for contract documents.
Experience working in a BIM environment and Civil 3D models.

Responsibilities

Working knowledge of Autodesk Software's including AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Navisworks.
Working knowledge of Bentley Software's including MicroStation, OpenGround and ProjectWise.
Knowledge of Keyhole/HoleBase geotechnical software.
To provide Engineering drawings which are core to the business and will form part of essential reports, contract documentation and project tenders etc.
To apply and adhere to published CAD standards for Ground Engineering.
Must be flexible and adaptable regarding CAD task programmes with respect to both client and project requirements.
