Job summary

Rullion is seeking a CAD Technician near Porthmadog, Wales. The role involves producing and amending 2D drawings and managing drawing documentation in line with project standards. You will oversee the design CDE, BIM execution, and support the project team to optimize information models.

Key tasks include coordinating graphical models, ensuring correct file attributes, and delivering BEP-compliant information for approvals. 45 hours/week onsite.

Qualifications

• All candidates ideally will hold relevant engineering/design qualification (Time Served, HNC/HND/Degree etc)
• 2-3 Years Experience/Knowledge of construction activities and infrastructure design processes.
• Applied knowledge of BS/PAS/ISO and their processes.
• Experience of Identifying, interpreting and applying required industry/ client/ internal CAD/BIM standards.
• Experience of project delivery using the core 2D/3D CAD applications of AutoCAD with knowledge of Bentley systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and amend 2D drawings; manage drawing files and attributes.
• Coordinate graphical models and ensure coordination with other disciplines.
• Submit information for approval per BEP; manage design CDE for the client.
• Support Project team to deliver outputs from Information models.
• Assist BIM Manager with BIM Execution Plans and project delivery.
