Job summary

4Wall is seeking a Cable Prep Technician to join the UK warehouse team at our Hertford location. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining, testing, and preparing cables, connectors, and consumables to the highest standards for live events.

You will work closely with Warehouse, Operations and Technical teams, handle stock, use asset management software, and travel occasionally to other sites. A background in AV or data cabling is desirable, with a positive team attitude and the willingness to

Qualifications

• Experience with professional AV, lighting, power, or data cabling is desirable.
• Good understanding of cable preparation, testing, and organisation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, label, and organise cables and connectors to quality standards.
• Maintain cable trunks, spares, and consumables; report shortages or damage.
• Pull and prepare cables for jobs with Warehouse and Operations teams.
• Use company systems to allocate equipment and keep records.
