Job summary

Proactive Global is hiring a Cable Assembler/Solderer for a leading manufacturing company based in Corby, NN17. You will carry out cable assembly and soldering per printed instructions, and ensure quality by following documented procedures.

Shift is Mon-Fri 8:00AM-4:30PM with a pay rate of £13.45-£15 per hour. You will maintain safety standards, keep the workstation tidy, and assist in transporting connectors from warehouse to the assembly area.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the cable assembly process, including soldering, as instructed by following printed assembly instruction documents
• Carry out quality control of cable assemblies following written instructional documents
• Adhere to safety standards by practicing safe working processes
• Keep work station neat and tidy and maintain tools/equipment properly
• Advise Cable Lead of any broken, incomplete parts, as well as inconsistencies/safety hazards
• Transport connectors and cables from warehouse to assembly area
• Test all cables and place individual tested labels on "main" cables
