Job summary

Proactive Technical Limited is seeking Assembly Operatives to join a busy production team on a long‑term basis. You will read and interpret drawings and schematics, assemble components to exact specifications, and perform precise soldering using appropriate tools. This is a hands‑on role in a production environment with steady, day‑time hours.

Hours are 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £13.25–£14.75 per hour. Start date is ASAP, and training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Some form of experience within assembly based work.
• Strong soldering skills although training can be given.
• Competence with hand tools.
• Ability to confidently read basic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and electronic schematics.
• Assemble components and sub-assemblies to defined specifications.
• Carry out soldering tasks to a high standard.
• Use hand tools and soldering equipment to complete assembly task.
