Job summary

Pro-Found Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking Assembly Operatives for a client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley. You will work on cabinet assembly and production lines, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, quality, and safety in a busy factory setting.

The role is physically demanding and involves working both solo and as part of a team. Training starts soon, with a temporary-to-permanent contract after approx. 12 weeks, and a fixed day shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly/manufacturing experience – essential.
• Experience of using hand tools – essential.
• Joinery/carpentry experience preferred but not essential.
• This is a physically demanding role with regular manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cabinets on production benches/lines.
• Quality check materials and finished products.
• Pack and tape items for shipment.
• Work with wood and follow instructions.
• Maintain general housekeeping in workspace.
• Work both individually and as part of a team.
• Meet daily production targets.
