A career without limitsAs the nation’s flag carrier, we take great pride in connecting Britain with the world and the world with Britain. It’s something we’ve been doing for over 100 years, ever since we launched the world’s first international scheduled air service between London and Paris. This originality has been in our blood since day one. It’s the spirit we share with the people that fly with us, our partners, and our colleagues. So, whether you are a reassuring voice on the end of a phone, a smile at the door, under a wing keeping the turbines spinning or landing us gently in far-flung places, a job at British Airways is yours to make. We know great things can happen when you’re inspired to think big and bring your ambition to work every day, which is why, at British Airways the sky is never the limit.

The Role

Cabin Products Executive

The Cabin Products team is responsible for shaping and managing the physical products our customers experience on board, from the seats they use to the wider cabin environment around them. As a Cabin Products Executive, you’ll manage an allocated portfolio of cabin products through development, delivery and their lifecycle, in line with the Cabin Products strategy and investment plan. Working across design, engineering, procurement and customer experience, you’ll help deliver market-leading products that strengthen British Airways’ competitive position and can be successfully operated across our fleet.

What You’ll Do
  • Look after a allocated portfolio of cabin products through development, delivery and their lifecycle.
  • Champion the customer throughout product development, ensuring products meet the agreed design, quality, configuration and customer-experience standards.
  • Support the successful delivery of cabin programmes by tracking milestones, risks, budgets and decisions, escalating issues when required.
  • Define product requirements and develop business cases for new and evolving cabin products.
  • Use customer insight, competitor analysis and commercial data to inform decisions and future product development.
  • Work across Design, Engineering, Procurement, Hospitality and programme teams to deliver an integrated onboard experience.
  • Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and support procurement, product changes and entry into service readiness.
  • Lead customer sign-off of completed products and support Marketing and PR activity for product launches.
What You’ll Bring To British Airways
  • You’ll be a creative and innovative individual who puts the customer at the heart of decision-making. You’ll bring awareness of current and emerging industry trends, together with a strong understanding of competitor products and strategies.
  • You’ll combine commercial acumen with the ability to analyse and present complex customer, operational and commercial information. You’ll use insight and evidence to make clear recommendations and support sound decisions.
  • You’ll be a strong and engaging communicator, with the interpersonal skills to influence across teams, manage supplier performance and bring stakeholders together around a shared outcome.
  • Strong project and portfolio management, planning and organisational skills will be essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to agreed timescales.
  • You’ll bring a positive and supportive approach to change, with an understanding of project governance and an appreciation of how certification requirements can affect aircraft-interior development and delivery.
Your Experience
  • You’ll have relevant experience of developing, managing or delivering customer-facing products or programmes within a complex organisation, together with a proven ability to balance customer, commercial, operational and technical requirements.
  • You’ll be technically and design literate, with relevant project or programme-management expertise. Experience of commercial management, procurement, supplier management and negotiation will also be important.
  • A degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience, would be desirable. A recognised project or programme-management qualification would also be advantageous.
  • Previous airline experience, particularly involving cabin interiors or aircraft-integration programmes, would be beneficial but is not essential.
