C++ Software Engineer - London / Amsterdam - Leading Global Market Maker

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support one of the world's most powerful trading platforms, continuously improving system performance, functionality, and stability
• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions across the firm
• Partner with business leaders to define priorities and deliver custom solutions
• Analyze complex business and technical problems
• Make proactive, sound decisions independently
• Provide timely systems support for trading activities

Qualifications

• Experience in proprietary finance, high-frequency trading (HFT), and/or market-making is highly preferred
• In-depth experience with C++
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Understanding of multi-threaded application design and development
• Experience with distributed systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suited for a dynamic trading environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Passion for technology and software development

Preferred Qualifications
