Python Software Engineer - London / Amsterdam - Leading Global Market Maker

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions across the firm.
2. Partner with business leaders to define priorities and deliver custom technology solutions.
3. Analyze complex business and technical problems.
4. Make proactive, sound decisions independently.
5. Provide timely systems support for trading activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in proprietary finance, high-frequency trading (HFT), and/or market-making is preferred.
• In-depth experience with Python.
• Strong analytical skills to solve open-ended problems.
• Knowledge of Linux systems.
• Scripting experience with ability to integrate various components and systems (in-house and third-party).
• Professional experience with distributed systems.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for a dynamic trading environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Deep passion for technology and software development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with proprietary trading and market making.
• Experience with Kafka, KdB, SQL Server, JavaScript, C++.
