Experis IT in Birmingham is seeking a hands-on C#/React Software Developer to join a growing technology team. You will design, build and maintain scalable business applications as part of a greenfield digital transformation.

You'll collaborate with a Product Manager and stakeholders, shaping solutions from day one and contributing to architecture, development standards and best practices across the lifecycle.

C#/React Software Developer
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We're partnering with an organisation undergoing a major digital transformation and looking to appoint an Application Developer to join their growing technology team.

This is a genuine greenfield opportunity. You'll be joining at a pivotal stage as the business modernises core systems, adopts a more product-led approach, and develops new applications from the ground up. Rather than simply maintaining Legacy systems, you'll play a key role in shaping future platforms, development standards and technical direction.

Working closely with the Product Manager and stakeholders across the business, you'll be involved in the full software development life cycle, delivering robust, scalable applications that solve real business challenges.

The Role

• Design, develop, test and maintain business applications and integrations

About You

We're looking for a hands-on developer who enjoys building practical solutions and making a visible impact within a collaborative environment.

You'll have:

• Strong experience with .NET
• Solid experience with React and/or Next.js
• Experience building and supporting business applications
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• The confidence to influence technical decisions and development practices

Desirable

• Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor or similar
• An interest in modern software engineering practices and continuous improvement
