Job summary

MCS Group are partnering with a leading technology organisation to appoint a Full Stack Engineer to join their growing engineering team in Belfast. You will work on a large-scale programme migrating public-facing web apps from legacy tech to a modern React-based architecture.

You will develop and maintain full stack applications using C#/.NET on the backend and React on the frontend, contributing to reusable components and scalable services while collaborating with experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years commercial experience developing applications using C#/.NET.
• Exposure to React or a strong desire to develop React expertise.
• Experience working across both backend and frontend development.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience working with SQL databases.
• TypeScript experience would be advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Passion for building modern, scalable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining full stack web applications using C#/.NET and React

MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a leading technology organisation as they seek to appoint a Full Stack Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established software business currently undertaking a large-scale modernisation programme, migrating a portfolio of public-facing web applications from legacy technologies to a modern React-based architecture.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative development team working on the evolution of an established component library and helping deliver scalable, high-quality web applications. This role offers the opportunity to work across both backend and frontend technologies while contributing to long-term product improvements and modern engineering practices.

The Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will work as part of a close-knit development team responsible for delivering and maintaining modern web applications used by a wide customer base.

You’ll primarily work with C#/.NET on the backend while contributing to React-based frontend development, collaborating closely with experienced engineers to build reusable components, improve development efficiency and support the ongoing migration to modern technologies.
