Job summary

GCS is hiring an Integration Engineer to work with stakeholders and IT teams across the business in the UK. The role centers on designing data mappings, APIs, and workflows for secure data exchange between systems.

You will develop RESTful services using C#/.NET, configure connectors, and ensure reliability with robust error handling. Key tooling includes Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS to orchestrate data flows, with supporting work in Postman, Swagger, and API gateways.

Qualifications

• Experience designing data mappings and workflows for cross-system integration.
• Hands-on development of RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Proficiency with cloud-based integration platforms and middleware tools.
• Ability to implement secure data exchange and error handling.
• Knowledge of data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV.

Responsibilities

• Design data mappings, transformations, APIs, and message schemas.
• Develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using C#/.NET or similar.
• Configure connectors and ensure reliability with error handling and retries.
• Orchestrate data flows using Azure Logic Apps, Data Factory, and SSIS.
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs with secure access.
• Test integration workflows end-to-end and debug with relevant tools.
• Document API contracts and integration configurations for maintainability.
