Job summary

Proactive Appointments is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Back End C# .NET Developer on a permanent basis to join the growing development team.

The role is hybrid (2-3 days on-site per week) in Taunton, Somerset, with a salary up to £45,000 per annum. You will contribute to the design and development of new applications and features, while mentoring peers and working across the full software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of professional experience in back-end development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core (latest versions).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git for version control and continuous integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy efficient, scalable, and maintainable applications using C# and .NET Core (latest versions).
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues and optimise application performance.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Work within our Azure infrastructure and utilise its services for deployment and management.

Our client is looking to onboard a Junior to Mid-Level Back End C# .NET Developer on a permanent basis to join their growing development team.
