Job summary

Driver Hire Burton is looking for a Class 1 (C+E) tipper driver to support deliveries across UK sites, with early starts (05:00–06:00) and a Monday to Friday pattern. You will follow H&S guidelines and carry out handballing, ratchets and straps as required, ensuring safe, on-time arrivals.

Full training is provided. A valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC card and Digital Tachograph card are required, with at least 12 months’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least 12 months’ experience.
• Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• Handballing, ratchets and straps experience; safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 1 (C+E) tipper vehicle across UK sites.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and deliver on time.
• Handle loading/unloading tasks as required.

Job description

Monday to Friday work, early starts (05:00-06:00)

Driver Hire Burton is looking for a driver to operate a Class 1 (Cat C +E) Tipper vehicle to assist with deliveries across various UK sites, whilst adhering to H&S at all times.

Tipping experience would be advantageous, however, full training will be provided.

Job Requirements:

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 12 months’ experience
• Valid CPC card and Digital Tacho card
• Handballing required
• Ratchets and Straps experience
• Professional Manner
• Safety-focused approach

Pay rates:

• £16.50 per hour (Accrued)
• £18.49 per hour (Advanced)
• Overtime after 8.45 hours paid at time and a half.
