Job summary

Driver Hire Exeter is seeking an experienced C+E Driver to deliver and collect rental plant machinery across the South West. The role involves operating a beaver tail flatbed, occasional trailer work, loading and unloading equipment, and delivering to sites and customer premises with a focus on safety and professional service.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30am for 42.5 hours per week. PAYE rate is £17.65 per hour with possibilities for permanent placement and alternative

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Minimum 2 years' C+E driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points for speeding offences only.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and collection of rental plant machinery.
• Operating a beaver tail flatbed vehicle, with occasional trailer work.
• Loading, securing, transporting and unloading equipment safely.
• Delivering to construction sites and customer premises throughout the South West.
