Job summary

Manpower UK Limited is seeking two experienced C+E Heavy Haulage Drivers to join a specialist logistics team based in Acton. You will operate heavy haulage vehicles across London's transport network, transporting train parts and equipment to and from London Underground depots, while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role requires a Class 1 licence with proven heavy haulage experience, Driver CPC, and a strong understanding of regulations.

Qualifications

• C+E (Class 1) licence with proven heavy haulage experience.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong understanding of transport regulations, load securing, and safety procedures.
• Safety-conscious mindset with excellent compliance standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy haulage vehicles across London’s transport network.
• Safely transporting essential components including train parts, wheels, bogies, plant, and specialist equipment.
• Strap and secure heavy loads to keep them stable during transport.
• Support engineering possessions and planned works.
• Conduct thorough pre-use vehicle checks and maintain transport logs.
• Liaise with site supervisors, logistics coordinators and depot teams for timely, safe deliveries.
