Job summary

Montgomery Transport Group in Preston is seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers for fixed tramping shifts. You will transport a wide range of goods, follow routes, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining safety and vehicle standards.

Applicants must hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence with CPC and Digi card, have at least 1 year of Class 1 experience, and be able to complete vehicle checks. The role offers weekly pay from £875 plus overtime, a modern fleet, and generous holiday

Qualifications

• Must hold Class 1 (C+E) licence with CPC and Digi card.
• At least 1 year Class 1 driving experience (insurance requirement).
• No more than 6 points on licence; no DND.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver a wide range of goods to customers efficiently and on time.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and communicate location and estimated arrival times clearly.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
• Drive company vehicles safely, responsibly, and in compliance with road regulations.
• Conduct daily vehicle and trailer inspections with accurate documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles inside and out.
• Fixed Tramping shifts, 4 nights out a week.
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and site policies.
