Job summary

Berry Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced LGV C+E Class 1 Driver for a role based in Widnes/Runcorn area. The position offers 5:00am starts, primarily local deliveries, with potential progression to permanent for the right candidate.

Applicants must hold LGV C+E / Class 1 licence, CPC and DTC, with proven handball delivery capability and reliable attendance. A weekly performance bonus may apply depending on targets and telematics.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E / Class 1 Driving Licence.
• Valid CPC.
• Valid DTC.
• Previous LGV C+E driving experience.
• Good attendance and timekeeping.
• Professional attitude and customer service skills.
• Good telematics performance.
• Physically fit and comfortable with handball deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV C+E Class 1 vehicles for local deliveries.
• Adhere to start times and route schedules.
• Deliver goods to customers with professional service.
• Operate handball deliveries using roller-equipped rear doors.
• Maintain safe driving and telematics targets.
