McGregor Boyall is partnering with a premier London hedge fund to enhance functionality on their OMS platform.

In this role, the successful applicant will implement real-time trade execution flows, develop robust message handling patterns, and optimize performance-critical systems where microseconds matter.

The tech stack includes C# with React/TypeScript frontends (with a focus on backend development), message-oriented middleware for streaming market data, and both SQL Server and Redis for different persistence needs. You will work within modern DevOps practices using containerization and CI/CD pipelines.

Beyond coding, you will collaborate directly with portfolio managers and traders to solve complex problems at the intersection of technology and financial markets.

Required skills:

1. Excellent C# programming ability
2. Extensive experience working on an OMS or related platforms (EMS, PMS, booking, processing, etc.)
3. FIX experience is essential
4. Extensive experience with a top financial services institution (hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank)
