Job summary

New Look is seeking a Buying Admin Assistant to support Planning, Buying, Sample Management and Trading activities within our fast-paced fashion buying team in the UK. The role emphasizes data entry, supplier coordination and maintaining purchase orders to meet deadlines.

Ideal candidates will have a fashion-focused background, strong organizational skills and a genuine interest in how ranges are developed and brought to market.

Qualifications

• Strong awareness of current fashion trends and high street landscape.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident communicator who builds positive relationships across teams and with suppliers.
• Passionate about product and how ranges are built and brought to market.
• Experience in Fashion/Retail and/or Buying Admin Assistant role is advantageous.
• Fashion-related qualification or degree is desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Planning: manage daily/weekly tasks in line with WOW and prepare for departmental meetings.
• Buying: handle order amendments, supplier issues, and barcode coordination via the planning tool.
• Sample Management: label, file, prepare samples for meetings and for online sales pre-shoots.
• Trading: review basic trade reports and support in trend/competitor analysis and store visits.
