This is an amazing opportunity for a Buying Admin Assistant who is looking for a new and exciting role and who enjoys an ambitious, fast paced and rewarding environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for raising POs and systematic PO maintenance.
- Daily supplier communication, including VC’s. Maintaining regular communication lines with them to tackle issues in a timely manner. To escalate issues as necessary to the Buying Manager.
- Involvement in seasonal product range reviews, assisting with updates and organisation of samples.
- To ensure that all product range plans are correctly maintained on the system in line with departmental deadlines.
- Responsible for the maintenance of departmental sheets, including Excel and Power Point based sheets.
- Maintain accurate product and supplier information data in internal systems.
- Co-ordinate with production team to manage product launches and ensure Buying team are kept up to date.
- Ad hoc reporting and production of information to meet the requirements of the business.
- Conduct competitor and market research.
- Supporting the day to day running of the Buying department.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in a retail fashion environment is advantageous, but not essential.
- Strong Excel & Power Point skills, or a willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail is key in this role, the successful candidate must be organised and accurate.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Candidate must be proactive, self-motivated and able to manage their time effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work across teams
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to analyse data
