We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join an amazing high street fashion brand on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

As a Buyer, your role will involve collaborating in the development, sourcing, and delivery of a trendy and commercially viable product range. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining the balance between creativity and commerciality, ultimately driving the success of the brand in a competitive landscape.

Some key responsibilities:

• Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimum products, prices, and terms of contract. Utilize the supplier’s expertise to improve the range and knowledge.
• Lead meetings at Director/Head of level ensuring effective communication of key information and completion of actions within set timescales.
• Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure the successful launch of new product lines/seasonal collections and other initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with the merchandising team to monitor and control trade, ensuring stock turn, margin targets, and profit levels are achieved.
• Review and analyze sales data, identify top-performing product lines, and make data-driven decisions for future lines and recommendations for improvement.

• Must have a background in buying.
• Willing to work in the office 5 days a week.
• Passionate about trends and excels in driving newness in a fast-paced environment.
• Experienced in negotiating with suppliers to secure the best value, cost prices, and lead times.
