Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Buyer for a fast-paced fresh produce and foodservice business in the Co. Londonderry Area. The role starts early (5:00 AM) and runs to lunchtime, roughly 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary dependent on experience.

You will purchase fresh produce, manage stock, forecast demand, and nurture supplier relationships to support day-to-day operations and long-term growth. Full training provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Previous purchasing, procurement, or buying experience desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to learn, with full training provided for the right candidate.
• Interest in fresh produce, foodservice, or FMCG environments would be advantageous.

About the Role

As a Buyer, you will play a key role in ensuring the business has the right products available at the right time and at the right cost. Working closely with suppliers and operational teams, you will help maintain stock levels, manage supplier relationships, and support the efficient day-to-day running of the business.
