Job summary

Eaton Wimborne, located in Dorset, is seeking a proactive procurement specialist to manage materials, components and services for key aerospace programs. You will coordinate vendors, issue POs, and monitor deliveries to ensure on-time supply while maintaining ITAR compliance and supplier performance.

The role requires a Bachelor-level qualification in business or supply chain, strong ERP/MRP skills, and the ability to influence across internal teams and external suppliers to achieve project

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level qualification or significant industry experience in supply chain or procurement.
• Experience managing procurement for mid-to-large scale programs is preferred.
• Knowledge of ITAR/EAR compliance and export controls is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials, components, major work packages and services for designated programs.
• Coordinate procurement activities for designated vendors within a commodity group.
• Issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely acknowledgment by vendors.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure on-time deliveries to production.
• Manage open PO books and MRP signals to align with production needs.
• Lead communications on changes to requirements, schedules and pricing.
• Ensure compliance with FARs, DFARs, ITAR/EAR and company policies.
• Negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost, delivery, and quality.
