Job summary

Eaton Wimborne, located in Wimborne, Dorset, is a leader in aerospace fuel systems and defences. The Finance function handles month-end routines and the reporting of key programme metrics, with ownership of balance sheet elements such as inventory and debtors.

The role supports forecasting, budgeting and planning for Revenue Streams. Qualified candidates will have ACA/CIMA/ACCA partial status and a graduate background, plus strong attention to detail and reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end routines in Wimborne Finance function
• Provide weekly programme and business stream metrics reporting
• Prepare monthly results to Gross Profit for relevant programmes
• Own key balance sheet elements (Inventory, debtors)
• Review programme contract performance monthly (historic and forecast)
• Drive forecast, budget and 5-year plan processes for Revenue Stream
• Support reporting and analysis for assigned business streams

What You'll Do

• Perform all related month end routines within the Wimborne Finance function and ad hoc tasks across the business
• Weekly reporting of key programme and Business Stream metrics to business (Orders, Sales, Margin ,Spend)
• Preparation of monthly results to Gross Profit for relevant Programmes
• Ownership of key balance sheet elements, Inventory / debtors
• Monthly reviews of programme contract performance - historic and forecast
• Monthly Reporting for Revenue Stream
• Drive forecast/ budget and 5 year plan process within Revenue Stream
• Ad Hoc tasks as requested by Finance Lead
• Co-operate with management to meet the employer’s legal duties and take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omission.
• Support the assigned Business stream leads and provide reporting and analysis of activity
• Support other Business streams as required
• Ensure correct accounting and reporting of the Business Stream’s activity
• Perform all related month end routines with in the Wimborne Finance function and Ad hoc tasks across the business

Qualifications

• Minimum part Qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA
• Preferable Graduate
