Working Hours : 37.50 Hours a week Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00

Location : Wellingborough

We are looking for a buyer / Purchaser to assist the purchasing team in the smooth running of the purchasing department. You will be someone who has worked in a buying / purchasing role previously ideally in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment.

Ideally with a minimum of 2 years background working in a buying position within a manufacturing or Engineering environment you will be able to multitask and work to deadlines. Be able to prioritise work and use own initiative. Have good computer skills and be used to using all Microsoft packages.

The role will involve ordering stock to ensure production runs efficiently, managing stock levels to ensure we are neither under nor overstocked.

You will play a key role in working with the Purchasing Manager in developing long‑term growth plans with suppliers and ensuring the needs of our manufacturing operation are met. You will also assist in ensuring the smooth operation of the company inventory system.
