We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our procurement team and support purchasing activities in the Technology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring goods and services and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of quality products and services. The Buyer will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify purchasing needs and optimize procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage new supplier requests and conduct due diligence.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify purchasing needs.
• Research and evaluate potential suppliers, comparing prices and quality.
• Place purchase orders and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
• Build and maintain positive supplier relationships.
• Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities, including contracts and delivery schedules.
• Manage supply chain risks.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.

Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Experience in the Technology sector is desirable.
• Strong negotiation skills and relationship management abilities.
• Ability to analyze data to support purchasing decisions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Proactis is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
