Job summary

Telestack is seeking a Buyer to support procurement of materials, components and services, ensuring timely, cost‑effective purchasing aligned with build schedules and KPIs. You will raise and monitor POs, expedite orders, and collaborate with suppliers to reduce lead times and costs.

The role requires at least 2 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing or engineering, strong Excel skills, and the ability to read BOMs and engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years purchasing experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Epicor or similar).
• Ability to read and interpret BOMs and engineering drawings.
• Detail oriented, proactive, and adaptable to changing production or supply conditions.

Responsibilities

• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and support cost‑saving and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties that support purchasing and production needs.
