Job summary

Job Description

This role will be based in Celtic Lakes. Our new 237,000‑square‑foot Newport facility provides additional production and customer collaboration spaces, including 25,000 square feet of R&D clean rooms, 35,000 square feet of state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing space and tool demo areas, all designed to support development of semiconductor process technologies across advanced packaging, power devices, micro‑electromechanical systems (MEMS), radio frequency (RF) and photonics sector technology!

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate key expedite capability
  • Lead time reduction initiatives with Purchasing / Spares Organisations
  • Undertake problem solving and trouble‑shooting
  • Cost reduction and inventory reduction initiatives
  • Develop & evaluate new suppliers
  • Develop good relationships with current suppliers
  • Summarise results in a written report or presentation formats
  • MRP / SAP understanding
  • Global supply chain and logistics initiatives
  • Develop and understand key SPTS purchasing processes
  • Generating SAP reports and creating controlled measures
  • Understanding and creating Data to support KPI’s
  • Measuring market conditions and identifying key global constraints
  • Interfacing with SPARES to support tool down scenario and for regional forecasts
  • Developing reports to support OTIF to SPARES >90%
Qualifications
  • Shown experience in a similar procurement role
  • Degree in a Supply Chain or Logistics Management category
  • CIPS Accredited
  • Good communication skills
  • Good IT Skills (minimum Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
