Base pay range

Positioned at the heart of the business, your key responsibilities will be to optimise the profitability of your products, especially with the view of focusing on sustainable long term growth, improved efficiencies and superior customer experience. In this transitionary period, the role will present you with a fantastic and unrivalled opportunity to build and spearhead something special and unique with ambitions to become industry leading. The position is available within the Heating & Plumbing category.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set a clear, B2B focused and agile business strategy, to deliver growth in sales and profit, especially in the long run both in store and online.
• Be extremely analytical and data driven in decision making.
• Keep abreast on any changes in consumer demands and direct competition.
• Develop a clear sourcing strategy to ensure the supply of quality products that meet the customer needs.
• Manage supplier relations and negotiation to develop high performing sustainable partnerships.
• Cultivate a long termed and customer centric mentality.
• Communicate closely with various departments to ensure key issues are addressed.
• Proactive in aiming to improve efficiencies and reduce overheads at all times.

Candidate Requirements:

Salary: From £65,000.00 per year

Builder Depot is a family run, builder’s merchant, consisting of 4 branches located in North West London employing in excess of 300 employees. Our aim is to provide the most efficient and best service to both in-store and online customers in the UK.

To support our ambitions, we are in the process of undertaking a comprehensive business transformation from the top down to spread a strong customer centric mentality, improve efficiencies and develop a long-term vision and culture, supported by the better use of systems and software.
