Madisons Recruitment are looking for a Buyer on a permanent basis located in the Leeds area.

As a crucial member of the buying team, you will take on the role of delivering a comprehensive buying function for the Group. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

• Adhering to buying processes, policies, and company policies
• Work with site teams to ensure materials are delivered on time
• Coordinate with the commercial team in respects to material costs and lead times
• Identify and assess potential suppliers, always negotiating the most competitive rates
• Maintain all procurement systems
• Additional duties assigned by your manager

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Construction Buyer
• Ambitious and pro-active
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
• Excellent excel skills & other Microsoft office applications
• Problem-solving and negotiation skills
