Job summary

SF Partners are supporting a Leeds-based business to appoint a Category Buyer who will develop and deliver the category sourcing strategy. This office-based role focuses on supplier management, cost optimisation and ensuring supply continuity.

Working with senior procurement leadership, you will translate category strategy into day-to-day delivery, drive savings, monitor supplier performance and support cross-functional teams across planning and logistics.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, sourcing, or buying.
• Commercially aware with a data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Running RFQs/RFPs, negotiating pricing, and managing contracts

• Tracking raw material pricing and identifying cost reduction opportunities
