Job summary

Permanent Futures Limited is seeking a Lead Buyer near Leeds with a strong background in purchasing mechanical components for manufacturing. You will lead cost purchases, manage stock availability for production, and represent the department in key meetings to drive supplier performance.

The role requires experience with MRP/ERP and collaboration with R&D teams, including sourcing from Far East suppliers where appropriate.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Lead Buyer with a strong background in manufacturing and an understanding of fabricated parts.

• Responsible for leading cost purchase of materials and components
• Managing stock control to ensure all material is available at all times for the production teams
