• Placing orders for agreed materials and ensuring management of stocks
• Reducing wastage and minimising over/under stocks, in line with company policies
• Managing and stabilising prices
• Understanding and working with the MRP system to create orders for production materials and plan deliveries
• Managing and developing relationships with suppliers and internal teams
• Keeping MRP system data accurate and up to date
• Updating relevant trackers and systems
• Communicating effectively with internal teams
