Job description

David Phillips is an award-winning, industry-leading furniture and service specialist for property professionals. Based in Central London, we’re a hard-working, close-knit team passionate about delivering design-led furniture solutions across the fast-moving residential and commercial property sectors.

We’re on the lookout for a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organised Product Coordinator with a passion for furniture and homewares to join our growing product team. In this role, you’ll be a pivotal team member—working with design and project teams to curate tailored product lists for residential apartments, student accommodations, and large-scale developments. You’ll help shape our product strategy and drive innovation across our furniture offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in sourcing & building a balanced and appropriately innovative range from an optimised supply base to meet the current & anticipated future requirements of the business which includes stocked, bought to order, bespoke, project and temporary substitute lines from manufacturers & distributors in UK, Europe and overseas
  • Responsible for building and managing strong relationships with the supplier base to improve our product offering and overall supply chain performance.
  • Setting up and maintaining a library of supplier products, options and details, reviewing and communicating changes to stakeholders.
  • Critical path management, ensuring key dates are met and that all functions deliver to given deadlines. Create training guides for the Sales Team on new products and key features and benefits.
  • Produce product specification sheets outlining product attributes. Support with swatch and sample management. Maintain a central library of supplier products, details, and updates.
  • Collect data from relevant trade fairs, suppliers and directional shops to assist in product development and identify additional potential opportunities to drive the business forwards.
  • Building cross departmental relationships in a positive and professional manner to ensure sharing of information and strong team partnerships.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally and present confidently to customers and stakeholders
