Sofina Foods is seeking an experienced Butcher Supervisor to lead the Strabane butchery team, ensuring high-quality meat products and exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the Store Manager to manage daily operations, drive performance, and uphold stringent food safety standards.

The ideal candidate has retail butchery experience, proven supervisory skills, and a proactive approach to team development and merchandising.

Qualifications

• Experience within a retail butchery environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of meat preparation techniques and food safety requirements.
• Excellent customer service, communication and people management skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to make decisions independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead, motivate and support the butchery team to achieve operational and sales targets.
• Prepare and present high-quality meat products to customer and company specifications.
• Deliver excellent customer service and promote product knowledge throughout the team.
• Monitor stock levels, stock rotation, ordering requirements and wastage controls.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Train, coach and develop team members to support performance and career growth.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, counter presentation and product displays.
• Support the Store Manager and provide management cover when required.
