Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail butchery environment is essential.
• Strong commitment to customer service and sales objectives.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and relevant regulations.
• Experience coaching or training team members.
• Able to take responsibility and support management when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of meat cuts to customer and company specifications.
• Provide excellent customer service and share product knowledge.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and presentation.
• Manage stock rotation, quality checks and sampling activities.
• Receive deliveries and complete associated documentation.
• Support promotional activities and general store operations.
• Provide guidance and cover supervisory responsibilities when needed.
