Job summary

Henderson Group's EUROSPAR Markethill store is hiring a Butchery Assistant on a 32-hour/week contract, with Monday–Saturday hours 8:45am–3:30pm and some flexibility. You will deliver first-class customer service, ensure quality and display, and maintain hygiene at the butchery counter.

The role requires being 18+, with prior retail or customer-facing experience preferred, and experience in meat/poultry helpful. We offer training and potential progression within our growing butchery operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ due to safety requirements.
• Previous retail experience or customer-facing role preferred.
• Experience in meat/poultry service beneficial.
• Maintain high hygiene and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and preparing meat to pre-set standards.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
• Provide excellent counter service and advise customers.
• Receive training with potential career progression in butchery concessions.
