Job summary

The Butchers Recruiter is opening a brand-new shop and seeks a skilled butcher to help set the standard from day one. You will be hands-on across preparation, presentation and customer service, working Tuesday to Saturday to ensure high-quality service as the shop launches.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate, company pension, cycle to work and on-site parking, with a consistent Tue-Sat schedule and the opportunity to be part of the team from the outset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cut meat to a consistently high standard.
• Serve customers at the counter and provide knowledgeable product advice.
• Maintain well-stocked, attractive displays.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and cleanliness requirements.
• Complete cleaning and housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the butchery counter.

Job description

A new shop means the chance to help set the standard from day one, from the quality of the counter to the service customers receive. As a Butcher, you'll use your knowledge of meat preparation and retail service to help build a butchery customer's trust for quality, advice and consistently high standards.

You'll be hands-on across preparation, presentation and customer service, working Tuesday to Saturday in a role where your skills will be visible every day. With the shop opening later this year, you'll also have the opportunity to be part of the team from the very beginning.
